Your user preferences are primarily stored locally on your device using Chrome's local storage mechanism. For Pro users, subscription statuses and account identifiers are securely stored on our backend database (Supabase).

The data we collect is used solely to:

• Provide the core functionalities of the extension (e.g., displaying pronunciation and saving preferences).
• Authenticate Pro users and grant access to premium features.
• Process payments and manage subscriptions.
• Improve the performance and reliability of the service.
